I got this booklet when Panerai launched their in-house movement P.2002 calibre. This is a very nice booklet. The booklet measures 40 x 40 cm. It has 56 pages, not including the cover. The booklet starts with a brief history of Panerai and this is followed by photographs of Panerai's watches. The photographs are beautiful as are the watches. I believe the tools used to make the watches are used as the background of the photographs. Only a selection of Panerai watches are in the booklet.
The front cover and back cover has the porthole design. It is very fitting as Panerai has very strong marine connections. The Panerai legend on the cover is inside the porthole and is raised. In fact, all the watches in the booklet are photographed with tools and riveted steel plates, indicating that the watches are tool watches. I would not be surprised to find out that the watches were indeed photographed against the S.L.C. 200 'Maiale' (Siluro Lenta Corsa).
This is followed by photographs showing the various stages of the case manufacture and also the stages in manufacturing the metal bracelet. Then there are the large photographs of the various movements used by Panerai. Included is their technical specifications.
Finally the new In-House movement P.2002 is shown along with the watch that will be fitted with this movement, the Radiomir 8 Days GMT 45 mm. I love the photograph that shows the parts that make up the P.2002 calibre.
The booklet ends with a few photograph of the Panerai manufacture. All in all, I have to say that I love this booklet. It is very well done with very beautiful photographs.

The 'Siluro a Lenta Corsa' (Slow Moving Torpedo), better known as 'Maiale' (Pig) was developed by Captains G.N. Toschi and Tesei in 1935.
