To my surprise, I saw the watch today. I like the watch. It looks
very very good. I even tried it on. It was not heavy, as it is made
with Titanium. The 48 mm size, I like. The screw down diamond shape
crown, I like. The thickness of the case, I like. Basic
specifications:
Case: titanium, diameter 48 mm, thickness 15 mm, lug width 24 mm, screw-back
Crystal: sapphire
Movement: Selita SW 200 automatic movement
Functions: hours, minutes, seconds and date (at 4 o'clock position)
Water resistant: 10 ATM
Strap: anti-allergic Caoutcholic rubber
But to my surprise, the watch is a limited edition watch. That I did not know. It is a limited edition run of 5,000 pieces. I always thought of the watch as being a normal production run watch. Evidently not. Checked Zodiac website and there was no mention. Interesting.
The watch comes in a wooden box and as an added bonus a tie-pin. This different from the standard Zodiac presentation box. In reality, I could not see the difference between the Limited Edition model and the standard version, except for the limited edition serial number on the case back. Of yes, it is also more expensive, coming in at USD 1,000 as compared to the standard at USD 895.
