Benrus Type 1 reissue

Evidently this is a watch that is only available in Japan. Will have to look for it when I go there at the end of the year. Some specifications:

Functions: hours, minutes, seconds, dual time (?)

Case: stainless steel, 40 mm diameter, 16 mm thick, 19 mm lug width

Crystal: mineral glass

Movement: Swiss quartz

Water resistance: 10 ATM

The watch will feature the Tritium gas tubes on the hands, 1 on the hour hand and 2 on the minute hand. The tubes are the H3 mb-microtec H3 technologies tubes. The watch is expected to retail for USD 350.

I understand that there is also a Type 2 reissue. Will bring more on the type 2 once more details in available.
