LACO is celebrating its 85th birthday by releasing a limited edition Pilot watch. In line with its 85th Anniversary, this limited edition watch is limited to 85 pieces. The watch is a 'replica' of the Aviator Observation Watch FL 23883.
The watch will feature a LACO modified ETA A07.111 movement. The movement will be a hand-wound movement featuring hacking and a high level of finish. Sadly the beautiful movement cannot be enjoyed as the watch does not have a display back as per the original.
The watch itself will measure 55 mm in diameter (as per the original) and 20 mm thick. The stainless steel case will be laser engraved with the FL 23883 (supply contract number?) on the side. The case back will also be laser engraved and will be serialised.
The watch will be water resistant to 5 ATM. It will be fitted with a double domed sapphire crystal. The dial with be the 'B-type' dial. The hands (hours and minute) will be blue and filled with Superluminova C3.
