Christopher Ward has introduced the second version of their popular C9 Harrison Jumping Hour watch. The new watch will still features the ETA 2824-2 movement that has been modified by Master Watchmaker Johannes Jahnke, but the movement has been further refined. According to Johannes, the new movement is 'probably the most precise jumping hour movement the world has yet seen'.
The new watch, the Mk II, will be a limited edition run of only 250 pieces and will features a number of interesting details. First is the use of gold, solid rose gold in fact, a first in Christopher Ward. The bezel of this beautiful watch is made of solid rose gold. Second, the watch will be assembled in Christopher Ward own workshop in Biel, Switzerland and by Johannes and his team. Third is the use of an optic white one piece metal dial and finally the adoption of the case and dial aesthetic that was first seen in the highly popular C900 Single Pusher Chronograph making the new C9 Jumping Hour MK II an interesting proposition.
The watch is expected to retail for around USD 2,900. It is available for pre-order with an expected September delivery.
