Seiko, working in collaboration with nano.universe have released the new version of the very popular SUS watches. These are the modern interpretation of the watches released in the 90s. The reissue looks very much like the original, small and thick.
The original SUS watches were released after Seiko felt that the youth market were left out. Seiko got two young designers, Mr. Chitoshi Funamoto and Mr. Atsushiko Matsuno to look into that particular market and the SUS watches were the result. SUS means Simple and Strong with the U uniting the two.
There are 7 models in the new collection with 4 being standard production and 3 being Special Edition models. The 3 Special Edition models will only be available at the nano.universe stores and yes, at the moment these watches seems to be only available in Japan.
