Seiko 5 Sports...

It looks like Seiko have relaunched the Seiko 5 Sports Collection. The Seiko 5 came about in 1963 and it promises that every Seiko 5 will have 5 attributes and the attributes are:

Automatic movement

Day Date display at the 3 o'clock position

Water resistance

Recessed crown at the 4 o'clock position

Case and bracelet built for durability

The new collection is known as the Seiko 5 Sports and it will be available from September 2019. 

Along with the relaunch, Seiko will also introduced a new symbol that denotes the watches as both Seiko 5 and Sports. 

The watches will feature the same arrow shaped minutes hands, distinctive 3D hour markers, one way rotating bezel and the Seiko 4R36 movement. The watches will also feature a wide range of straps and bracelets from steel mesh to silicone/ leather hybrid straps.

The watches comes in at 42.5mm in diameter, 13.4mm thick with a water resistance rating of 100M.

There will be a total of 27 different models grouped under the five styles. The five styles: 

Sports (11 watches)

Suits (8 watches)

Specialist (3 watches)

Street (3 watches)

Sense (2 watches)
